Game Developer/Software Engineer Position

Total Eclipse is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Game Development team. 

The successful candidate must have proven programming experience in object-oriented languages, a systematic approach to problem-solving and time management, as well as great people skills and a passion for games. You will be expected to work in a variety of exciting areas ranging from downloadable, to portable and online games. 

We believe that making games should be fun, first and foremost. That is why we are looking for people with a positive attitude, who believe in teamwork and will tackle problems and offer solutions in creative ways.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop new games & port existing ones to new platforms.
  • Update, maintain & port our game development framework.
  • Maintain detailed design documentation.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong object-oriented programming knowledge across several languages and platforms preferably ActionScript 3, Objective-C and/or C++
  • Excellent skills in at least one programming language.
  • Good knowledge of UML/XML and XPATH.
  • An understanding of physics and math algorithms.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a programmer, preferably in game development.
  • Fulfilled army service requirements (for male applicants).
  • Fluency in English

Desired:

  • Excellent ActionScript 3/Objective-C programming skills.
  • Experience in design of medium/large scale software through the use of Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge of databases and relational modelling.
  • Knowledge of network programming.
  • A good understanding of Artificial Intelligence algorithms.
  • Experience in mobile application development.
